CREATIVE INNOVATIONS, located in a Victorian house in historic Salado, Texas, is more than a traditional flower shop--it is a design studio.

I like to talk to my brides to get a feel for what they want--find out how they visualize themselves on their wedding day--and then start to design from there. Weddings are highly personal and individual, and I start creating from that point of view. We scatter pictures, fabrics and flowers all over the table and weave all of the ideas into a beautiful event. I work hands-on with a network of wedding vendors, and I help my brides find everything from cakes, rentals, linens and even their wedding dress! Obviously, flowers are my specialty, but the flowers are a part of a larger picture, and I work hard to tie all aspects of the event together.

Weddings are not about me or how I think it should look--this is the bride's moment, and my assignment is to advise and to make the floral magic happen to fit the bride's picture and her budget.

While we specialize in weddings and events, we also take pride in designing flowers for every occasion.
